PureTerm — Privacy Policy

The short version

PureTerm runs entirely on your iPhone. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no trackers. We collect no personal data.

What the app accesses — and why

Network: Connects only to servers YOU configure (SSH/Telnet). Traffic goes directly from your device to your server — we operate no servers in between and never see it.

SSH keys & passwords: Stored only in the iOS Keychain on your device. Private keys never leave your iPhone; they are used locally to authenticate with your own server.

Local network: Used only when you connect to a device on your own network.

What we collect

Only what purchases require. The app itself sends us nothing — no analytics, no ads, no content uploads. Our App Store privacy label lists Purchase History only: when you buy Pro, our purchase partner RevenueCat processes the App Store receipt under a random anonymous identifier to unlock your features. It is not linked to your identity and is never used for tracking.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see your payment details. To validate purchases the app uses RevenueCat, which receives only a random anonymous identifier and the purchase receipt; no personal data, no tracking. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
